Information about textbooks being reviewed for DE/AP Biology. This document directs parents, students, and community members about how to review online textbook samples. If a parent would like to review physical copies, these textbooks are available for review in your school's main office during regular business hours.
Experience: This is my 14th year teaching. 3 years in Mexico City, 4 years in North Carolina, and 7 years for MCPS.
Educational Background: B.S. in Biology M.S. in Child Psychology
Class Taught: Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Chemistry.
Hobbies: When I’m not playing with my sons or hanging out by the pool with the family you might find me on the golf course!
Personal Information: I am from Bedford, Pennsylvania and moved to Virginia in 2016. My wife and two boys, Ben and Jack, currently live in Christiansburg.

Experience: This is my ninth year teaching at EMHS, and I am excited to be teaching you SCIENCE!
Educational Background: I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
Class Taught: I teach Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Environmental Science in Room C-1.
Hobbies: I like playing disc golf and hiking. Both activities provide me opportunities to observe the sciences I teach outside of the classroom.
