Brandon Rhinehart



My name is Brandon Rhinehart and I am excited to teach music at EMHS and SMS this coming year. I am a 24 year old, second year teacher who lives in Blacksburg. I originally grew up in Winchester VA, where I went to Sherando High School. I've lived in VA my entire life and I love the area with its beautiful mountainous terrain and robust city life scattered throughout the state. 



Classes Taught: Middle School Band, High School Band, Marching Band, Guitar, Piano Lab


Educational Background: I’ve graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors in Music Education and a Minor in Jazz Studies


Certification/Experiences: During my time in college I was the Vice-President of the Madison Saxophone Society, an Innovation Leader for the Center for Inclusive Music Engagement, Service Head for my Fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and Section Leader in the Marching Royal Dukes.


Interests/Hobbies: My interests consist of anything music related, computers and technology, outdoor events such as hiking and camping, community service, and cooking food. I love seeing the world and hope one day to visit every continent.
