EMHS Senior Spencer Sission won 1st Place at the Southwest Virginia Governors School Science Fair in the Engineering Category. His project also won the overall grand prize award for Physical Science.
His project involved using an Arduino Microcontroller and a repurposed remote control car to develop a pacing device for track athletes.
